TO ALL READER ENTHUSIASTS: Manila Book Fair 2014

The yearly much awaited Manila Book Fair will be held next week , from September 17 to 21, 2014 at the SMX Convention Center. Yes! That means a five-day event  (from Wednesday to Saturday) for all book worms and collectors from all ages and walks life. Aren't you excited for this?

To share with you guys, I attended my first Manila Book Fair last 2011 and I was really overwhelmed by what I saw there. Well for me, the highlight of that experience, was that I was able to attend to a talk regarding the self help book called Dianetics, which I've been wanting for weeks before the said event. I was able to buy it in a discounted price with a cd tutorial copy of the book and have it  signed by David Pomeranz who had used the book for his self improvement venture. 

For this year's event, I am very much sure that everything we need from pocketbooks to textbooks, from sci fi to fiction bestsellers, from contemporary literature to self help books will be on that venue. A lot of exhibitors (bookstores sponsors and publishers and the likes) will be there to launch new books, offer great discounts and freebies. Added to these, there will also be  educational talks and seminars, quizbee competition, story writing contests, story and poetry readings and other interactive activities that will make every book lover (as well as non book lover but curious of  the event) have an enriching unforgettable experience on the said fair.
