They say that our eyebrows sets our impression to the people: If they are arched way too high, people may see us unapproachable and not easy to deal with. If they are inappropriately arched we may project a different expression from what we really wanted to convey.
Seing the photo above it clearly shows that having well-shaped eyebrows are important in featuring our expressions and giving balance and most of all, enhances our looks.
My mom used to remove my scattered eyebrows but not really shaping it. Now that I get versed with makeups and vanity, eyebrow construction was on top of my list for improving my looks . Finally yesterday, July 27, 2015, after the Watch Me Shine BDJ Rendezvous in Glorietta 3, I headed to Greenbelt 5 for my reserved slot for a complete workout. I had gone to the branch for reservation three days before as I had a meeting with a friend nearby,
I find the place very relaxing and the choice of color for their interiors, which is green, indeed gives a cozy atmosphere.
The Procedure: Complete Workout
This is basically an over all facial hair threading which includes:
Brow Shaping and Threading of the face (Forehead, Lower Eyelids, Nose, Cheeks, Upper and Lower Lips, Chin and Sideburns)
Getting a free voucher sank in when I learned that this cost 1,600 php. I didn't have too much facial hair and it only took me roughly 15 minutes or so to be lying down in the bed while hearing the snapping of the thread and pulling of hairs.
For me (who probably had higher pain tolerance compare to others) somehow didn't find the procedure hurtful though I had some redness on my sideburns as I guess a normal reaction for a first timer like me.
For the aftercare, I was advised to not apply anything on my face for the meantime and to wash it only with tap water after 4 hours from the time the procedure ended and to avoid hot facial steam for the first 24 hours.
Will I go for the complete workout procedure again?
My answer is NO, I honestly will not pay 1600 pesos unless my hair becomes like that of a gorilla but I will surely visit them again for my their brow shaping/ reconstruction for I love how my brows were nicely and "cleanly" done.
