Since I was a kid, I've been a fan of mountaineers. It seems like a very interesting hobby and a fulfilling achievement to reach the peak of the trail and be amused by the sea of clouds hovering the horizon.
Then there's Sanggala Mountaineers, which is not your usual mountaineering team.
Why?
Because their love of the mountains and the mountain views are coupled with their passion to help others and to give to the less fortunate.
SANGGALA was founded in June 2014, and humbly means isang gala, saan ang gala or the expression pusang gala.
This kind-hearted team had already conducted 2 previous programs:

For this year, it will be on September 27, 2015, also as their 3rd outreach program themed as "Share a Life" with community people from Barangay Camachile in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija as their recipients.
Everyone is encouraged to participate by donating cash or goods that will surely put a smile to the community (eg, slippers, canned goods, emergency kits, medicines, rice and etc). Health care professionals who are willing to be part of this one of a kind event are also welcomed to join the outreach program.
